About Rachel Gross

Hi! I'm Rachel Gross and I'm running for the Michigan State House of Representatives.

As someone deeply rooted in rural Michigan, I know firsthand the challenges our communities face. I’m committed to empowering rural voices, protecting our constitutional rights, access to healthcare, and delivering real solutions for our families, farms, and small businesses. Go with Gross — because Michigan’s rural communities deserve to be heard and respected in Lansing.

Rachel was born and raised in Portland, Michigan, and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School. She has fond memories of spending time as a child on her grandparent’s farm in Pewamo, Michigan. Rachel is a mother of four adult children and has been married to her husband, Scott Gross, for over 28 years.

Committed to Community Activism

In addition to her nursing career, Rachel remains committed to community activism, and in the fall of 2024, she founded the nonprofit group “We Are Community” to bring people together under common values.
